Your Pub As A Hub

Do you think your pub could benefit from carrying out a Little Heroes Firewalk?

In 2010 we asked pubs how our events helped them. Overwhelmingly, respondents suggest that the community links are the most important way in which the pub benefits from hosting Little Heroes events.

  •  82%     Increase Community Involvement
  • 73%     More Business to the Pub
  • 38%     Increased Staff Morale
  •   8%     No Real Benefit
  •   2%     Other

Further emphasising the concept of the ‘Pub as the Hub’ and often the very heart of the community – especially in more rural areas.

Imagine
You get 30 people to take part in the Firewalk Challenge – they all bring with them 3 – 4 people to watch, that’s over 100 people in you pub, on a night of your choosing. The bar takings are up, the food takings are up, your pub is having a great night and everyone is enjoying your pub and the fantastic atmosphere.

The Press are there to take photos of the event, an event that will be talked about  for years.

So would your pub consider hosting a Firewalk or Glasswalk for Little Heroes, as  one of your charitable activities?

You  get the people to walk the fire, we host the event, you make money on bar  takings, and we raise vital funds for children with cancer.

IT’S A WIN – WIN SITUATION

Why not have a Happy Hour whilst our training session takes place, to keep the guests and supporters happy. some pubs have even made a special cocktail for the evening and donated some of the profit to Little Heroes.
